The confidentiality of survey findings from each participating university is protected. Participating universities will be named as one of the 20-25 universities taking part in the Teaching Cultures Survey; otherwise no information relating to the findings from any individual institutional survey will be available in the public domain or seen by anyone outside the university. So there will be no university-by-university comparisons and the findings of any individual university cannot be inferred from the amalgamated data.
Following each survey (in 2019, 2022 and 2025), a snap-shot of the survey findings from the amalgamated data set (across all participating institutions) will be included in a summary report which will be made available on the project website. On the website and summary reports, we will list the participating universities, but no information about findings for individual universities will be included. For example, the summary report of the 2019 survey findings is given here. For the 2025 survey, a comparison will also be made between the amalgamated findings from participating Dutch universities and those from other participating universities; these findings will only be included if there are more than seven universities in each group.
The bespoke reports and spreadsheets (given to each participating university) will be the only place where the university's own findings will be isolated. These confidential findings will only be seen by the project research/design team, and will be sent only to the university’s appointed institutional and administrative leads.
