Confidentiality statement

The confidentiality of survey findings from each participating university is protected. Participating universities will be named as one of the 28 universities that have taken part in the Teaching Cultures Survey to date; otherwise, no information on the findings from any individual institutional survey will be available in the public domain or seen by anyone outside the university without that university’s explicit permission. There will be no university-by-university comparisons in published survey outputs, and the findings of any individual university cannot be inferred from the amalgamated data.

Following each survey (to date in 2019, 2022 and 2025), a snapshot of the survey findings from the amalgamated data set (across all participating institutions) will be included in a summary report made available on the project website. The participating universities will be listed in these reports, but no institution-specific survey findings will be included.

Each participating university receives a bespoke report and accompanying data sheets containing its institutional results. These confidential findings are seen only by the project research/design team and are sent solely to the university’s appointed institutional and administrative leads. They are not circulated further.

Any subsequent publication, case study, or dissemination activity that includes institution-specific analysis or data will take place only with the prior written agreement of the university concerned.
